So instead of that, I will just tell you that the article is called The Creative Personality: Ten paradoxical traits of the creative personality and the ten paradoxical creative personality traits are these:
- Creative people have a great deal of physical energy, but they’re also often quiet and at rest
- Creative people tend to be smart yet naive at the same time
- Creative people combine playfulness and discipline, or responsibility and irresponsibility
- Creative people alternate between imagination and fantasy, and a rooted sense of reality
- Creative people trend to be both extroverted and introverted
- Creative people are humble and proud at the same time
- Creative people, to an extent, escape rigid gender role stereotyping
- Creative people are both rebellious and conservative
- Most creative people are very passionate about their work, yet they can be extremely objective about it as well
- Creative people’s openness and sensitivity often exposes them to suffering and pain, yet also to a great deal of enjoyment
I think the best way to sum all that up would be to say that creative people are complex.
This list really is just the tip of the iceberg though. If you’re looking to understand your own creativity a little better or you have dreams of being a wildly creative person, there is a wealth of information in the article.
As for myself, I definitely recognize a few of these as describing me well, particularly numbers 1, 4, 7, 8, and 9. What about all other other creative people out there, are these descriptions accurate?

I think what he’s saying is that ‘creative’ people are completely indistiguishable from everyone else on all of these metrics, and, like everyone else, they are all sometimes this, sometimes that depending one when, by who and how the question gets asked
